Germany: coniferous log exports down by 1 million cubic metres
German exports of coniferous logs in January-July were 1 million cubic metres lower than the previous year. Germany exported 4.16 million cubic feet of coniferous logs. Last year, exports increased by 18 per cent, or by 940,000 ft, to 5.11 million ft. Exports to the top three export destinations, China, Austria and Poland, fell by 24 per cent during the reporting period.
